Madayaw Dabaw!

Kadayawan 2013"Kadayawan" is derived from the a word Madayaw, a friendly greeting.  Dayaw, means beautiful.

Kadayawan Festival

Kadayawan Festival.  This festival is celebrated, month of August, in the city of Davao,Mindanao,Philippines.Kadayawan Festival is one of the most colorful and energetic festivities on the islands.

Indak - Indak sa Kadalanan is one of the highlights of the festivity.  Ten Indigenous Tribes are competing,Maguindanao, Ovu-Manuvo, Klata-Djangan, Ata, Tagabawa, Tausog, Maranao, Kagan, Matigsalug and Sama.

August 17, 2013. Thousands of people are waiting at the streets.  Sunny weather and jostling are not a hindrance to witness the graceful contingents each tribe.
